Dear future delegates,
I joined ELMUN beeing a Director in 2018. It is one of the things that I really like about our school organizing, because it provides so much great experience in politics for everybody who is taking part. Whether its researching information about relevant topics for your country, lobbying to get to know other positions, debating a resolution or coming together for the General Assembly. Every step is important and plays its role not only to grow a common position resulting in a resolution but also grow confidence and deep insight in political work that comes as close as it gets to reality concerning political operations in international institutions. I am looking forward for next years ELMUN and hope every participant not only gets the above mentioned experiences but will also have a good time during the conference meeting other people outside the common „school box“, getting new mentally and political perspectives and challenges that can be produced by simulations like that.
